What We Believe

Here at Boys of Courage, we strongly believe that having good reading material and other good resources is a precious gem. Most importantly, we need to have a relationship with Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is the son of God, and God had a plan for Him to save the world! He came to Earth 2,000 years ago as a baby of a carpenter, and He was born in a stable! As He grew, He challenged the most advanced minds of His town. He gathered a group of followers, and trained them in the way of the Lord, performed many miracles, including feeding 5,000 people, letting a blind man see, and making the lame walk! He told people to believe in Him, and He would save them. He was betrayed and was killed on a tree by His many enemies, but that was not the end. It was God’s plan that Jesus would pay the price for us so that those who would believe in Him would be saved. He was placed in a tomb (a burial place,) and stayed there for three days. On the third day, He rose again, and conquered death so that those who believed in Him would come to Heaven, and live with God forever! Will you believe in the Savior?

If you are ready to believe, then say a prayer like this one:

Dear Jesus, I’m so sorry for the sins I’ve committed against You. Please forgive me. I believe that You rose from the dead, and that You reign. Please come into my life and live there. I want You to rule every aspect of my life. Please help me to live more like You every day.

In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

If you allow Jesus to come into your life, then you have just become a follower of Jesus! But if you do not truly believe, you are not one of God’s children. And you will go to this horrible place called Hell, where there is overwhelming pain and suffering, and separation from God. Believe today, or it may be too late!

Congratulations if you accepted Jesus! You will have immense reward in Heaven.

The Next Step:

If you want to live like Jesus did, you must turn from your sins and tell other people about Jesus. It will be hard, but God will help you! Also, get your own copy of The Bible, and start with the gospel of John. God’s blessings in your new walk!
